Cool Top Gear USA - Muscle Cars

Apologies if this has been posted previously...........we're just getting season 2 at the moment, here in the UK. Most of us (in Mustang circles, at least) much prefer your version to ours!

Anyway, if you want to enjoy the full version of the Muscle Car episode (featuring a '70 Boss 302, a '12 Boss 302, a '12 Roush 427 and an '11 GT amoungst others), you can view it at the BBC's iPlayer

Haha thats funny, because most people I talk to, even around Detroit of all places much prefer the Brit version over the US version. However, that particular episode holds permanent residence in my DVR!

the US version usually just mirrors the UK version with the challenges, even with the "oh no, we are in the tight race, and now we are stuck behind a slow moving truck"

I watch both versions of Top Gear, but I personally think that Jeremy Clerkson is a pompous ***.

Jezza is a pompous ***, but he needs to be. I helps to differentiate him from the other, and that's his method of reviewing the cars.

That he is, and IMO Tanner Foust is supposed to be his equal character, but instead of pompous, he comes of pretentious. At least Clarkson is entertaining.

I heart JC! We need more people that say what they feel instead of fake clones that follow the sheeps *** infront of them.

JC is a pompous brit
Hammond is the one rebel American in brits clothing
And Cpt. Slow is mr braniac who loves everything european. A great mix IMO
Top gear UK is the better of the two series but the muscle episode showcases what we 'Mericans are known for! Muscle, sound, and simple raw power!

I love that part when Tanner was drifting with a Boss 302.

I watch both shows and I think they both suck right now. Brits are too predictable, every season is just the same old crap, and Americans are just trying too hard to copy Brits. They would be much better if they try to build their own show.

Did you guys like the American pony car episode or the British muscle car episode (Cadillac, zr1, challenger) better?
