Has anyone ever used a Monopoly "Get out of jail Free" card? An ex-cop buddy of mine was given one and laughed so hard he just let the guy go....

OK,go to jail ONLY if was clocked at 100 still under full throttle(heading for 150)
I was going about 120 pedal to the metal going thru the gears on a "deserted" road and a cop made a u turn to chase me down, but apparently got stuck in the sand or something......so I turned off at the next exit and disappeared. ADRENALIN!!!!!!!!!!!(PS. this was years ago)hehee

when there was`nt a cop on every corner .
about a thousand years ago i outrun a cop quite by accident.. i was getting on my 428 mach one pretty hard and didnt know he was coming after me so i didnt let up .. he gave up .. but later found me and gave me quite a tounge lashing .. wound up being a buddie of mine .. he just didnt know i had the mustang .. another time i had just finished racing a guy in a 440 cuda and went straight home .. a friend in a similar mustang got my ticket for drag racing ,, he still gets mad over that ..30 years later

Felony? I must have missed that.
It isn't in my state.

Not 100% sure but whenever i hear people talking it is either three times the speed limit or 100mph. Just heard by word of mouth

i dont know what a " fast freddie " is but no i dont drive fast as a whole .. i just like my full throttle 1/8 th mile or so blasts up and down streets near and around me .. in my senior years it`s too easy for me to lose control of my stuff and it scares even me sometimes. slow reaction times .. iv`e been in lots of ditches in my day and may tell stories on here sometimes but iv`e told them so much on other fourums that they bore even me now..you are just enough older than me to have grown up in the best of hot rod times .. i caught the dying end of the muscle era and had all of them dirt cheap.. when i cruised my 69 mustang to town in 1975 & 6 to the A&W root beer hangouts . fellows 10 years or so older than i would be sitting around in their 32 and 40 ford coupe hot rods and shunning me for haveing a " late model " muscle car ..

OH, that was YOU huh, Willie. B'Ham Willie?, yea I recall the NEWER CAR guys on the corner staring us down. Actually I was in a stinking little Datsun 610 in '75 with a baby seat in the back after I sold my Charger during the gas crunch.... I was the guy across the street wishing I kept the old Charger. .......no matter how much gas she drank...(N. Calif. 1972-94)

Needless to say I never took any Datsun 610 pics.
I liked the Hurst Olds so much I copied the paint scheme onto the Charger.
My little kid is now 36..

just for a visit please

i did " visit " a jail once . not by my doing though .. i was riding with a friend back from cruising fayetteville tenn.. he was drunker than i thought and when some girls from ardmore alabama wanted to race we sped up and he lost control and ran them off the road .. just tore up their car a bunch but we all went to the jail house .. luckily we knew the officer and after a bit he let us go and put the girls in jail even though the accident was our fault .. i remember it so vividaly because the officer ( tenn trooper ) drove a hemi polara and warned us never to try and out run him

You never really know when a road is really deserted or not. There could always be a car that turns onto the road or somebody walking along side the road at night. The area I live in is pretty rural, but during the summer there are a lot of night clubs and bars that open up, and people end up walking home in the middle of the night. Random scenario, but you just never know what's up ahead. No reason to go over 100...emergency? Isn't that what they have amublences for?

then why have a fast car? surely you get on it some?
just asking lol.

i personally dont have the ***** to go 120, but our highways in yadkin county have NO cars at all and i could cruise at 95 all day.it is wrong and i could easily die from doing that but its not like you are doing it for 3 hours, heck i cant stand 3 seconds of it. But the bottom line is it really does depend on the situation, well no the bottom line really is just to the frickin speed limit haha
