Supercharger problem! HELP!!!

Ive got a 2007 shelby gt500 and i was going put gas in it and when i got on it i hit the rev limiter. After that the supercharger wasnt whinning like it usually does at its certain mark on the tach. If im in like say 5th, and just floor it, it makes a weird noise, feels like im not building up boost, like im just running off straight motor! Can anyone help?

I'll start with a silly question. Did you take a look at the belt on the sc?? Do you have a check engine light on?

When you put your foot in it, does the boost gauge show good boost?

When i rev it up the boost gauge flys to like the 3lb mark really fast, and in order to get to like the 8-10 mark the car is at like almost redline

Guy i talked to said it could have been a freak thing but obviously the computer closed the bypass valve for the boost flo, and after unplugging sensors, unhooked the positive battery cable, the computer re learned and reset itself! Idk kinda crazy if you ask me but everythings back to normal!!

Cool man. So it was just the computer protecting itself. Glad you got it taken care of.
