**STEEDA HAS WHAT YOU NEED FOR BETTER MILEAGE!**

After extensive testing, we have a simple combination that gives repeatable and noticeable gains in gas mileage on 96-09 GTs, and pays for itself in 9 months or less, with continued savings after that.

Check it out here: http://www.steeda.com/products/fuel_economy_paks.php

would a pully & some liquid really honestly do that ? and if a pulley is changed would Ford have anything to say if the car is warrentiedstill ? I'd like to save a tad more on fuel.

Ever notice you get better gas mileage with the A/C off vs on? Gas mileage goes down with the A/C on because you are increasing accessory load. Pullies give you a gas mileage increase not only due to the reduction in rotating mass, but the reduction in accessory load that results. That reduction in accessory load also increases power. This is why when you go to wide open throttle with the A/C on the compressor is cut off, to shed the load and avoid the horsepower drain and give you maximum power. Pulleys take this a step further.

As far as the liquid additive goes I can understand your skepticism. When we were first approached with this idea the joke around the office was that is was just another "snake oil". Those jokes disappeared after we tested it. In fact, half of our first batch of the additive went to employees. We were amazed by the results. It really does work and when combined with the pulleys is very effective.

Yes there are gains with UDPs, I am not sure how much. 1 or 2 mpg seems possible.
They do gain hp on a dyno. 5% more hp could translate into a mpg.
The snake oil would need scientific testing though.
I wonder about testing on a ford 305 engine?
305 Ford 14.0 16.8 2.8 20.0%
Most testing of additives show they seem to cause people to drive more carefully, because they are trying to show how well they work.
Under strictly scientific testing, they show negligible gains.

We have already done the testing, and have employees, including myself, who can tell you without a doubt this package works.

It is no secret we throughly test anything we put the Steeda name behind. We even test outside vendor products when possible but if it has the Steeda name, it is always tested well before it is released.

All of us in the office laughed at the snake oil too.... until we tested it. Then we stopped laughing. It works.
