Stay away from RPM Outlet!!!
It seems we list them in the aftermarket suppliers section. Considering the amount of complaints about them all over the internet, maybe we should re-evaluate what looks to be an indorsement?
+1
I have designed a website where I have brought together links to all the complaints about RPM Outlet. I am sick of trying to get a response from them. The amount of information about them is incredible. I can't believe anyone would deal with them. I guess there is one like me born every minute.
Why not just let your credit card company know about it. A charge back is one way to get their attention, especially when it locks up their money and you still have their item!
The credit card company won't charge it back as long as I have the product. If sI end it back, they'll just refuse it, and then I have more shipping charges, and still no refund.
Bump.
Just wanted to make sure that everyone who thinks about ordering from them does their research. http://RPMOutlet.info

Jack, I'm sorry you received very bad service from rpmoutlet.com. But, I can't help but wonder how isolated your incident is. Sure, I read the links you provided, but I in addition to the complaints, I also read their rebuttals (there are always two sides to every story). I mentioned earlier that I've personally ordered plenty of items from rpmoutlet.com and have always received the correct items in good condition and very promptly. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and refer others to them, who in turn have never had any problems with them, as well. They do business with thousands and thousands of people, but have a few dozen people that were left unsatisfied for a few different reasons. The vast majority seem to be happy. I'm not saying that makes up for not handling complaints like yours, but telling the world to avoid them doesn't seem fair either.
On a side note, I find it interesting, Jack, that you are a dealer yourself - selling Mustang goodies online. Does that make you one of rpmoutlet.com's competitors? I noticed on your website that you have a CAI kit for V6 Mustangs, but it routes through amazon.com once you click on it. I clicked on it and see a review from someone that says it's the wrong part number and doesn't fit as advertised. Then I flipped to your return policy page on YOUR website and learn that you special order each order for customers, so if they return a part, you hit them with a 10% restock fee and you "can not" refund shipping charges. Can not? Or will not? So, lastly, I go to the Better Business Bureau's website and can find absolutely no reference to your business. I hate to be an @$$, but something doesn't look right here??? And, you actually bought a domain name that mimics rpmoutlet's (rpmoutlet.info versus rpmoutlet.com) so that you can slam them publicly? Domain names aren't free (I have registered quite a few myself), so you spent money to attack a potential competitor? Perhaps I'm reading way too much into this, so please help me understand what's really going on here?
Yes I have an internet business. It is just me and I have had it for over 11 years. I special order items for my customers, and when they return them, I actually lose money. I have paid for the shipping, the item has been shipped. UPS is not going to refund that money. The restocking fee is to cover what I have to do to now sell that item, that I have now paid for. I have to sell it on ebay at a discount, so I lose money again. I want my customers to understand what they are buying and order the correct item, or quite honestly, I don't want the sale. And, if you find no information on my business at the BBB, it is because I have no complaints there.
As far as a connection, I have considered that this might look like this, and hesitated to list both links here. I value the information I get on this forum and would hope that the information I have given has been of value to others. Believe me, I am a bigger consumer that I am a seller. If you look at my website again, I think you'll find that I sell almost nothing that is in common with RPM Outlet. You looked hard to find one Amazon affiliate link, which I should have looked at better when I selected it. Those links will be removed from my site this morning. If I wanted to "trash" a competitor, I could have found someone that actually sells the same products. If you search my posts you will see that almost every time I suggest one of my products on these forums, someone pops in and leads people to other sites.
I am removing both the links to the RPM Outlet site and my own site from my signature. This thread was not started for others people's entertainment.
