SCT tuner

I have a 97 Mustang cobra naturally aspirated. I have pulleys, gears, off-road X pipe, and cat back exhaust done to my car. I recently purchased an SCT tuner. But I don't know if I should get a basic email tune from blow by racing or spend extra money and get a full Dyno tune on my car... I've been told by several people that since I don't have any power adders that it makes sense to just save money and get an email tune.. Any and all responses would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you're not looking to race it all the time, an email tune would work just fine for you. If you plan on taking it to the track as much as possible, then get a dyno tune. You'll be much happier with the results. Good luck and enjoy it!

Hey,

I would agree with MusicMan66, if you are mostly looking for a little extra power, and not seriously racing the car, an email tune is the way to go. Your build list so far is definitely something that most email tuners can handle.

From my own experience, I would personally recommend Bama tunes, but plenty of people are also pleased with blown by, and many other tuning companies. Bama tunes more Mustangs than any other company in the world and I think if you went with them you would understand why.

Either way, for your build and plans for the car, an email tune is the way to go. If you have any questions feel free to get back in touch. Best of luck!

Thanks guys, I don't plan on Racing all the time. But now and again I do like to take the Cobra to the Track so we'll see what happens. I might even be selling my Cobra now because I have come across a 03 cobra that is for Sale

I got mine from Bama and I am very happy with them. Lots of power from my 93 hybrid tune!
