Rag top

RAGGTOPP is an amazing product to use on the fabric tops. It repels water for months on end. I use it on both my current 'verts and have for years.
If you do buy the RAGGTOPP, make sure your top is completely clean and dry before applying the product. Use a lint roller to grab anything else off the cloth material. Raise the top just a little and tuck large towels all around the windshield and side windows and then put the top back down on top of them. This prevents the product from spraying on the glass (and paint too). It is a pain to clean if you accidentally get some on the glass or paint.
Make sure you buy the 'protectant'. They have cleaners and other products as well. I have found JC Whitney to have the best prices, especially when they offer free shipping. If no free shipping, get two cans and it technically cuts the shipping cost in half. If I can keep it under $25 per can delivered, then I'm happy with that.
Best of luck!

I have always used 303Products' "High Tech Fabric Guard". It's not cheap, but I think it does an awesome job. They also make a really good top cleaner and have lots of good care information on their web site. You can buy it through their site, but I usually get it a little cheaper from Amazon.com

I used it on my Sebring's top and it looked good for the 11 years I owned the car. There was no color fade after all that time. It did have some wear marks, which are inevitable with use and time. I was actually getting ready to replace the top because it had come loose from the glass last fall and was waiting on spring to do it. Unfortunately I totaled the car before I could replace the top. My GT premium convertible is now on order and I can't wait!

This is an excerpt from KBB: The 2012 GT has a 412-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 engine, automatic headlamps, rear spoiler, fog lamps, a black-chrome pony grille badge, and cloth instead of synthetic material on the Convertible's power top.

I assume that question was directed at me? I am getting a "RR14vert" or Ruby Red 2014 convertible with a black interior. The wait is killing me! Every beautiful day we get, I keep thinking I could driving with the top down! I think as soon as I get it I am going to take some time off so I can take a long drive to nowhere.

You probably have a cloth top but if you do have a vinyl one, I know that 303 makes a protectant for that as well.
