Quiz. Can you ID this part???
Check out my album, "Whatisit".
I found this rubber thing sitting on the cowl next to the windshield wiper arm.
I can't see any hole on the car where this may have come from.
Does anyone know what it is and where it goes?

Fell off someone else's car and bounced up? Almost looks like a door bumper or something. I can look at my car later and see if looks like anything in there. Interesting.
Oh and the pic is in his album.

Check for album entitle "whatisit Mustang".
It's not threaded. It has a little spherical thingy on the bottom that looks like it goes into a hole to locate it. The hood bumpers are a little bit different shape and the two at the front are still there. I can't see any hole where this little devil is supposed to go. It's very new looking...looks age appropriate to my car.

Looks Like a Door Stop Bumper. Also similar to Fuel Door Bumper.

It's a bumper for something. The small end gets pushed into a hole somewhere in the sheetmetal, and the larger end absorbs impact from something. Don't know if it's off of your care or someone else's, but my bet is a fuel door stop/bumper.

We have a winner
Was out checking for water leaks today and had the both doors opening and closing. Noticed Passenger side door latch has a little hole under it...just the size for the small end of the thingy.
Thanks all.
