Of no consequence what-so-ever, I've discovered that 1963 and 1964 full size Buicks had the upper portion of the dash in metal that looks pretty much the same as the IUP (no My Color, of course).
This little ditbit means absolutely nothing...just interesting.

I'm not sure the year, I'm sure others will chime in, but a previous generation Mustang had a IUP style dash. I'm pretty sure that's what Ford was going for w/ the '05. Side-by-Side the similarities are pretty cool. Unfortunately, I have no pic either.
