Power steering conversion fox to '70

Hello!

Can a fox body mustang steering box be installed into my 1970 mustang? Found a deal on the parts but haven't seen any confirmation if this is an easy upgrade. Thanks for the help!

The fox body doesn't have a steering box. It has a front mounted rack and pinion system. ('front' in relation to the K member.)

Now, the answer is 'yes' on the rack and pinion, but there will be modifications to do that, and it will be rear mounted in relation to the K member. Notably, the steering column has to be mated to the rack in some way.

Various kits solve this different ways, but all are bolt on, with just a little modding to get it done.
