An idea I got is to use some of those chrome valve step caps at the 12-3-6 and 9 o'clock positions (instead of numbers). Might look pretty cool!

I bought a new part... but for the wrong Mustang!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220010336060 (Other auctions are it $150 for just the air cleaner assembly with no tubes!)
I saw this set-up on Thursday night at the cruise in an 85 Mustang, and it really looked good. I wanted to take it out of his car, take it home, and install it!
This will take my 89 back to the actual pre-fuel injection set up like in 1983 to 1985... plus it will know have Cold Air Induction, instead of pulling air from the engine area.
Of course, I'll have to change the sticker to "5.4 Liter 4V H.O." since it isn't a 302 any more, but a 331.

But, I think mine only had 1 snorkel... I forgot.

My first carshow is now under my belt.
There was some tough competition out there, I definately had my work cut out for me. But, after the votes were tallied...
1ST PLACE baby!!!
As an added bonus, I got gome serious sunburn.

Looks like I see my rims on some of those GT's.

I do know that 05 and 06's were seperated because of the number of entries.
Yup, saw some Black Bullitts there!

But, that set-up only lasted a few months before I did some engine work.
I'll have to dig up some pics of my old Mustangs for kicks and post them here.

Congrats on the win. I thought your car was the best and cleanest looking of the 05-06 class. I'll post some random pics I took tomorrow when I have time.

The upcoming Queen Mary show in Long Beach will be crazy! I'll be lucky to just place in that one.

Just Kidding... you would have won hands down, Bill (I don't clean the inside of my rims).
