So does yours sound the same? So how did he fix it? was there any damage?
Sorry to hear about the car Bill! I hope it is nothing serious.
Well, I got back from Cali only to get sent to Montreal... There is still snow on the ground despite the warm temps.
Good luck Brian!
Phil... Did you hear about a bimmer running into a Vet's office over on the west side of town (Houston)?

Bill, I keep on trucking. I'm sure we'll all laugh about this in a few weeks.
Brian, looks awsome even if its not whipple'ed yet. Your due tomorrow?
And my update. I think my cars done?! He sent me the bill this afternoon. I have to call cause I think he did a typo on the bill and wrote "Autometer CS ---" guages and there actually Autometer GS guages. I did a serach on autometer's website and they have no cs so thats good. I have all the proof in all my e-mails I said GS. But I'm sure its a typo. Suck I work tomorrow...

She's dead Jim.
Thanks for everyone's support that you guys have given me, I really do appreciate it.
Engine oil shows catastrophic events took place within the engine. Shavings, pieces of what looks like piston rings, bolts, and pieces of debris have been recovered in the oil as well as fished out of the drain hole.
What can I say? This sux. I never got to drive the F'in thing to full boost.
So what's next for the Taco? I have no flippin idea at the moment. I put the starter back on (minus the negative cable), disconnected the negative battery lead, and covered her up. Now I need a drink to contemplate things.

****, i dont even know what to say. have a drink for me for you. I just dont know how this could have happened, there was very little stress on the engine above normal. let us know what you decide. I guess all you can do is go work on pulling down the engine, go with the forged internals, and build it back stronger and better than ever before. so sorry man

Out of curiosity, can a dealer tap into the ECU and find out what happened in the last minutes (ie- low oil pressure or something).
Kind of like a black box for airplanes.
edit: Reason for asking is that I still wonder if it was a complete fluke that it happened at the same time as the supercharger was installed.

Oh, **** Bill! That F'ing sucks!!!
I'm with Mike, it sounds like it might have been a coincidence that it blew the same time as the S/C was installed, cause that small of a mistake should not have fried itself...
