yeah, my times from qualcomm sucked. I think my best time was either 9.08 or 9.10. I also recall that I spun pretty hard 1st-2nd no matter what. Granted I didn't lower my tire pressure but I recognized right away that trying this on stock or street tires was pretty futile.
Will be picking up the ride in about 2-3 hours!
I searched around ModFords today and found all there is to know about the BAP install. That's one thing we're missing here in TMS (BAP How-To)... but will have one soon!
I may try and install it before the Knotts show. It should only take around 1 - 1 1/2 hours to do. Only time consuming part will be running the boost switch wire from the trunk to the firewall.
Just talked to Jed, he's streaking across the AZ desert and should be back in SoCal later tonight. You guys remind him of the carne asada & Heinekin party this Saturday!

I do hope you get-r-done before Knotts, that'd be waaay cool. Jed & Streaking, I don't think I want to know any more.. HAHAHAHA. I'm Out Saturday. I might shoot...er streak down there to show-off, but It's my day to detail and I have to help goodie bag stuffing(and get a Cordelia Knott Chicken Dinner). Between picking up the car, Knotts and detail, I might not get the chance to head out there, but I will try.
Yeah. Me = basket case by the time Thursday rolls around. The 5 hours I'll be at work on Friday are gonna be the worst 5 hours I've known. It's the same way it was when I went to go pick up my car

Found an article from Alternative Auto, another example of high HP with stock fuel system.
Alternative Auto has established a 12.5 psi Vortech package for the ‘05 and up Mustangs that will net 470+ RWHP with absolutely nothing else done to the car. This package is simple, clean and works! Its all happening with the stock fuel pump in the tank and no Boost-A-Pump either, only 39lbs injectors which come in the Vortech kit. The package consists of a 12.5 psi Vortech S-trim and an Alcohol kit as well. This is all happening with 91-93 Octane in the tank.

Like I said, I'll put the BAP on, I just find it interesting that larger pumps or BAP's aren't always required on FI engines.

Did you see my pic that I copied from the install instructions for my turbo?
525 at the crank is about 450 RWHP, and it says "more than adequate", which explains why I can hit 475 RWHP safely.
It is all interesting, and I'm still not sure why BAPs are needed sometimes (if they really are needed at all).

I don't see oil or obvious damage and it looks like it's residential area that it's being loaded/unloaded. Potentially a good sign.
We know that the BAP wasn't hooked up yet, perhaps after getting the AF gauge running he saw something he didn't like and didn't want to chance it driving it home? BTW... look closely the gauges look like they're installed and on the A-Pillar....
From the "Official Police Towing"
The owner or driver of a disabled vehicle requests or specifies a specific garage or tow service.
