Thanks George.. see my next post.

What's wrong now? No SCT yet? If no, I'd call them up and ask them if it's okay to fire up with the stock tune. If they say no, tell them that you wish you had the tune so you can!

It's official!

I'm now a believer in the Mothers Billet Polish!!

This was the 'finisher' polish I was saving til the end just to spiff it up. Instead, it layed down a mirror like finish!

Before (Chris' reflection)

Comparison between the Mag & Aluminum Polish and the Billet Metal Polish

Final buff (yeah, that's my work PC )

George WTF !!! I hate when a vendor does that. Have they even shipped it yet ? It'd be somewhat OK if you knew up front but this is what 2 weeks now of nothing.

Let's just say I reached the point of no return now.
Wheels....

Since I haven't gotten a for sure if a 275/40 would be big enough I decided to go staggered, not my first choice though. 18x9 up front 18x10 in back. I love the look of the bullitt and the FR500 tire and if I had the money the CS67 wheel.

Everywhere I looked a chrome Torq Thrust is about 300 bucks for the rear and over 200 in the front. The anthracite is quite a bit less and I do like that look.

or

Or the chrome ones.

Brian, are you looking at the Anthacite Bulitts?

With 18x10's you can run some good size meats back there.

I keep going back and forth. I love the stock wheels, but every Tom, Dick & Harry's got 'em. The DD anthracites I think would work but I'm not counting the chromes ones out yet.

That's the plan. I'm sticking with 285/40 for right now because it's the closest to the original
diameter of the stock tire. Should be pretty good size-wise

Very true. We used to be special, but when Luis got his, it was all over.

285's are some decent meats. I like the staggered look, so I'm a supporter of that move.

C&C.. me no car. Would like to go through. Leo, here's you chance at checking out the cruise-in.
Problem: The Roush has a 2 person limit.
Solution:

Pinks roll call: Me, Chris, Kai, Jed, Luis..
Anyone else?

Must be nice to get paid to polish your canton tanks.

I have to disagree. At most cars show's 99% of people have everything but the stock rims. Just saying...Either way I vote for the anthracite over chrome.

I've been to C&C remember. I think I'll pass though as I'm not a fan of waking up at 5 in the morning.

I did it during my Union negotiated break. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

brian - discount tire they're 5 minutes from my house and have always been great. Always hook it up and stand by their work/products.

now you have me thinking of the chrome shelby torque thrusts. So hard to choose

I guess we'll agree to disagree.

Maybe I'll go but I wouldn't bet on it.

BTW-Just got my MGW bezel and SHR T-shirt. I may have to wear it to Fab Fords.

I've gotten paid to do a lot of non-work related things... some even non-car related.
