Quick placing rundown from today's show...

Roush (All): 1st Place Jed
Saleen (All): 4th Place George
05-08 Modified Fastback: 2nd Place Bill
05-08 Modified Fastback: 4th Place Leo (good thing he didn't take the bet! )

Jed will post pics soon.

Brian, sorry you missed it 'by that much' again. Some MGW blingage and/or the Whipple will surely put you in the running at the next show.
My friends are nerdz. The "i'm playing in the smoke" guy is the one with the Ariel Atom and they'd been drinking. Still Nerdz

I didn't get a chance to say it. CONGRATS to the winners. The non-burning-out KB'd Roush got a first place. I know it was 1st on my ballot. George, Leo and I tried, but that red metalflake what ever it is... hotness is hard to beat. Didn't get to vote for my favorite, non-lambo doored, Modified Stangs... maybe next time. Still Bill, Leo your cars would have EASILY gotten my 1st and 2nd votes and the dealer paid-for or the over-the-top..... not so much. Geez I had fun

Thanks Brian.

After the awards, Leo and I were discussing why the voters didn't put you in the running. We don't understand it.. same 18" Bullitts, CDC spoiler, ducktail, white racing stripes, tinted windows, C&L, etc., etc.

I'm just happy that I knocked out the Dealer car out of contention for 2nd!
Unfortunately, Leo fell behind the Dealer car. There should be a Dealer/Mfg specific Class. This way they can have more bragging rights when they beat out another dealer instead of beating out a working chump on a limited budget.

Even George had to go up against 2 Saleen demo show cars.

Saw and solidified my decision in not getting them. They look good from a distance but up close to triangular for my taste.

Jed-Can't wait to see the pics when I get home. Your car looked great. First time seeing it with the KB.

Bill-The MWAG stuff looked even better in person. Wasn't to sure when you first told me you'd ordered but it came out great. MGW **** still not sold on.

Brian- Good times yesterday. Felt like I hardly saw you between all your Volunteer work.

Jorge-Nice seeing you again. It's becoming a habit. Told the wife about your Disney hook-up. She thought it was ironic that both you and Tom work at Disneyland.

C&L-Had the C&L on for the drive home and didn't notice any difference at all. I'm sure the C&L has more HP vs the K&N on a dyno but not enough for me to feel a difference.

SHR medallion-Got some positive feedback yesterday. Eitherway I was keeping it but just renforced my decision to keep it.

Thanks Leo. I do like how all the MWAG painted pieces turned out. I think it's a keeper!

Although I do like the Concept ****, I'll be swapping back in the MGW Gripper Ball sometime this week. So far, this is the most comfortable **** I've tried from my collection.

Leo, I know you can't see these linked pics. So until you get home, we'll have a good laugh at your expense.

Here's Leo doing a little 'last minute' parking lot mod...

And here's one where he's slightly distracted??? :gay:

FYI-Found a website selling the GT/CS fading stripe. A little pricey but they're the only one's selling it so without further ado.

Looks like ordering them without the GT/CS logo is not an option.

I'm sure if you contacted them and asked they could do it. They sell some that say "mustang" so I don't see why they couldn't do some with no text.

Your so picky Leo...

It's probably for the best as often as you change your mind about parts for your car these would be a b1+ch to change out!
