Attachment 30341

I use the Novus on all the chrome stuff, including the cam covers.

Z-16 on just about anything that's plastic or rubber (Shaker shroud, upper/lower radiator hoses, radiator cover, even Q-Tipped that little triangular black plastic piece next to the brake reservior). However, I left the C&L elbow and heat shield alone for now.

Z-6 on any painted surfaces in the bay (strut caps, towers, fender wells, basically everything red).

I will use the Adam's spray on the aluminum scoop and the front honeycomb grille on Saturday, the day before the show.

I don't know if you know Buckman, but he just blew his engine a few days ago. Was running low 11s on a stock 4.0 block. He pushed it as far as it could go, and it finally gave out. His best time ended up being an 11.02 @ 126.33.

No, don't know him. Is he on the 4.0 Collective?

It's the chance we all take when we make the decision to mod our cars, kinda like rollin' the dice.

If you're looking for reliability, leave everything stock.

Yeah, he pretty much sticks to the Collective. He posts on here a little bit, but not all that much.

He knew the risk he was taking. He wanted to push the stock block as far as he possibly could, knowing full well it would finally break.

Reliability? Psh...would needs that. Especially if you don't drive it...COUGH Bill.

Hey! I fully intend to back it out onto the driveway today to start detailing the interior. Take that!

Sure you aren't just gonna put it in neutral and push it out?

Isn't that what child labor is for?

Not a secret, at least I didn't think my big mouth didn't blab this......................

Doug from Bama is in town the 17th-19th of August at Dyno Joes here in Houston. For those of us who sign up for Dyno's he will help fine tune are tunes we have from him. I couldn't resist, plus it will help calm my concerns that my engine and the BAMA tune are working correctly.

Can't wait, should prove interesting.

Nice Bill!

Reminds me of the commercial where every time the lady sneezes her head gets a bit bigger, and bigger and bigger after each sneeze. Same thing is happening to Bill, every How To write up Bills head gets bigger and bigger and then this for Ford Mustang just exacerbates the situation. Soon Bill as John eluded to, will need a convertible to accommodate head expansion

But that’s OK Bill we are just busting on you pal, we could NOT live without your How To's, they are best in class.

You can sign this, Phil...

btw, what's with all the font sizes? Sometimes regular and other times 'old man' size text.
I know others must wonder the same thing, but never ask.

Do I have to say.........................

I don't like the editor mode here at TMS so I go without the spell check turned on but I always use word to spell check so for some reason when I do that and Cut and Paste the font gets changed.

Now you know, and now I've switched to the other editor here because of intense TacoBill peer pressure.

I do the same for my write-ups, gets typed up in MS Word first. But, that's for a historical document, not a single post!

(Sorry Phil, just giving you a hard time! )

What you guys think of the Shelby style spoiler?

And what if I told you it can be had brand new for $190 painted, cleared, and shipped?

(btw, he frequents TMS, so be nice. )
