Got back from the auto research thing just a little bit ago... and it sucked. Well I did get the money so I guess it wasn't so bad, but. I was really hoping to see more muscle cars but that was not to be.

The Mustang that got me "qualified" was so out of place it isn't funny. The other cars were a RX-7, Civic-D ?, Galant, Tiburon and a "new" car. The only reason that the Mustang was included was because of the power(IMO). The "new" car, ugly as all get out BTW, puts out 300hp on a V6 with what I'm guessing is a turbo. Get in the car, how does it make you feel type questions. No driving.

Anyway I guess I didn't answer the questions the way they'd like cause I wasn't invited to the more in-depth questions. Got my money and I was gone. Oh well, easy hundred bucks and it killed the afternoon so what the heck.

yeah I wasn't too kind on the other cars. Frankly I really don't like the styling at all. The new one was especially bad and I let them know. It's probably why I didn't get asked for the in-depth evaluation . Cause really there were things about it I despised and was waiting for the chance to tell them. That would have been fun.

That being said they almost all had better seats than the Stang, bolster wise. If there was one thing I'd change in the interior that'd be it !

Jeez. I'm bored tonight.

So I fly in tonight about 6:30 pm. As I am walking across the airport parking lot I see this Porsche Boxster with a bright red convertible roof, it has a black leather interior with red seat centers... looks nice except for one thing.... THE STINKING CAR IS YELLOW!!!

Proving once again…. Money and taste do not always co-exist!

Hey good to see you made it home OK.
If you are gonna keep coming up north, you ought to drop by sometime.

Just because you have the money to buy any combo doesn't mean you should.

I think the inserts needed to be a bright green or orange to really set it off right.

I just might do that! I have done some work in Londonderry at the Coke plant... I even had dinner in Nashua.

Suuuurrre... We could call it a HoJo's tribute car!

BTW, the interior of that car was nice... The bright red roof was hideous.

Nice pics Daryl!

For those wondering, Doug is the one with the X-Charger shirt standing behind Daryl.

My guess...

Yes you are close. You are high on one, but low on the other.

BTW... I'll be on a lot less because we've been told to cool it on the internet at work unless it's work related.

A few people have been fired (probably because they were stupid and went on unappropriate sites, like idiots).

So, now they are supposedly watching... and even checking computers for past internet usage (so they say - although I think it's just a scare tactic). I've had TMS up for 8 hours some days... not actually looking at it, but minimized to save time when I wanted to look. I'm sure I'm fine since it's not "unappropriate" (like ****).

Oh well, for now I'll have to catch up at home and on the weekends - at least until this blows over.

I think I've seen one around here somewhere....

There's actually a Camry I see all the time driving around here that is painted with an awful paint job. There's 3 equal stripes that cover the car is blue, orange and white. It's a joke, so it's kinda funny, but still terrible.

I guess for the time being I can't go anywhere on the internet. Unless I can figure out a way to make TMS work related.

It's been awhile since I've talked about the shotgun and rack, but here are some pictures of the finished product.

The rack was supposed to be on the deck lid, but the lid wouldn't support the weight of the gun and the rack. Even with the spring set to it's highest tension it would fall down.

So, I sent it back to get this one. I really had to bolster up the place where it is mounted. The metal up there is like tin. Now it's really solid. There is an electric lock with a handcuff key override.

During car shows, I lay out the info on the Special Service Vehicles in the trunk, so this will be a VERY big added thing that people will point to! I'm looking forward to this coming Saturday - Super Stang Fest at the Daytona Beach Speedway.
