Ponies on The Run (Again)

I guess what you don't know, you're not concerned with.
Ignorance is sometimes bliss.
It may have swayed my purchase if I knew what you knew. But then again, Granatelli is the only company I know of that has a CAI with their own MAS.
Funny you should mention this fact. Read the first referenced link below.
Are you sure all your aftermarket parts are original designs. Maybe you don't want to know.
Am I sure? Of course not. How about you?
Sure, I would like to know. But, if I like the product and trust the company, it shouldn't really matter.
Does MGW hold the original design for a short-throw shifter, or did they use someone else's idea and change it a little?
Well, this is a silly example. Of all the aftermarket shifters made for the S197, the MGW shifter looks nothing like examples from Hurst, Steeda, Pro 5.0, B&M, and Saleen. So, I can say with great certainty that MGW holds the original design to their shifter.

Here's some interesting reading regarding JR and the Granatelli company.
It's not directed at you Mike, so please don't take it that way. If you (and others) are satisfied with GMS products, that's great. They're a big company and they surely have a large support base. However, I can't support a company who misrepresents themselves, it just boils down to trust.
I trust Doug, take it for what it's worth.

Thanks for all the posts. It clears a lot up and I respect your view based on inaccuracies from GMS. However, one of the posts verifies the reason I bought the intake to begin with. The flow is basicly the same as C&L, but it will work with a stock tune, eliminating the need for a tuner. If I want a 93 race tune from Doug, it will work if I change to the stock sensor. I really don't care about anything else. I got what I paid for.
The buyer always has the right to return an item if it has been misrepresented.
Golly, I don't like the business practices of the company I work for, but I have to eat.
(a big and tasty)

You're welcome.
Wow, this is the most Mike posted here within the past 2 days. We have to call him out on more things in the future to lure him back to this thread.
No Hardies here in SoCal.
But, we have In-n-Out!
Going to spray some clear on them? They may start to turn yellow over time from the hot engine bay.

I could clear it, but would either have to tape off the 4.6, or clear over the entire black area.
BTW, they will both be covered with Zaino.

Man, haven't seen that modded sticker in a long time!
People did that back in the 80's.
Zaino may be sufficient.
Too bad MWAG doesn't have any pre-cut (colored) vinyl decal inlays for them (like the Mustang lettering on the Shaker sill), that would be the best. I'd get a set in TR for sure.

Final Product
Don't want to make such a big deal about the strut tower covers, but here's a much better picture of both of them finished out in the sunlight:

HAPPY EASTER all!

I thought you'd enjoy that bit of history! Of coarse the 80's was when I was stationed out there. I reported for duty on the USS New Jersey in October of 84 and after 4 years, 4 months, 2 weeks and 2 days of all the adventure I could handle I decided to get just a job. So it was Cali and hello
