That was my next question!

I do need a better one. After that, the sticky-pod is no problem!

Well you should. When people are looking at your engine bay they're taking it in a whole.

EDIT***
Just had an Idea...I'll try spraying some Adam's In and Out spray on my rad cover. That should dress it up. I haven't used that stuff since my last show.

Yes, but the shaker scoop and shroud has no bearing on the radiator cover color. The extensions flow with the body and the radiator cover flows with the grille. The shaker is it's own entity.

Could you imagine a big white rectangle right over my grille? If anything, that would take away from the shaker... because everybody would be drawn to the cover.

Attachment 21452 Too much orange surrounding the grille.
I already said earlier in a post that GO was unique in that those colors flow well together. Leos car is BLACK and so is the radiator cover I agree that some colors would not look good all one color. White is in the category of GO where the 2 different colors would flow well together.

Leo, looks good.

I've never heard of Adam's spray (so I don't know what the price differential is), but as I mentioned before, Tire Foam works great too.

I thought you used tire foam to clean your engine bay?? The adams spray is a "finisher" if you will. It adds that extra umh. It's not meant to clean up your engine bay.

The Tire Foam does both. My engine bay never really gets "dirty", except during the start of pollen season (during which time I try not driving the car). It's usually just "dusty"

So, when I use it, it's basically a cleaner/shiner in one. The first coat gets off the "dust", and the second coat is to give it some more shine and make sure everything is clean. The tire stuff is just a silicone spray.

BTW, I like your new avatar.

Tom, did you decide on what you're doing with the Aeroform bar.

my .02. I'm with Tom on the center being left alone and matching the same color as the grille. The painted parts flow from the facia to where all three pieces end and it doesn't matter that your car is black. Except for the alignment(which isn't that bad) I think it looks great as-is.

I'll wait to see pics of a black stang with an all gloss look before making a final decision. I'll be calling MWAG tomorrow about getting replacements.

On the extension covers.. there's not right answer, which is why they sell painted radiator covers, for those who want it or not.

I've always used Z-16 on my radiator cover, it creates a nice rich depth to an otherwise bland black.

You never realize how much these cars reflect the colors that they are surrounded by until you remove the colors around them.

Notice how much Tom's car reflects the blue sky and the green grass. Not so noticeable until you remove the greens and blue for the background.
