Just uploaded my Race File into the XCal2 - I drove one day with each of the others... impossible to wait a week.

------------------------

I drove the car around the neighborhood and some empty streets with the 93 Race. Awesome! The throttle response is great, but the car just launches forward hard when you step on the gas. No chance of losing control at a light with a cop next to you like Doug said, but I'll say it again - the tires help with that. When you guys replace tires, don't get the best if you want to still be able to play around with the car as much as you do now!

Around corners it's easy to lose control, though! I made a left turn and slid the car through the whole corner and then continued to peel out in 2nd with the car sideways - so the power is there with the stock air box!

When I rotate tires tomorrow, I'm going to throw on the stock tires on the rear only so I can see the difference when taking off straight and through corners. Then I can say once and for all how much difference the BFG's make.

Yes, I feel a lot better than I did a week or two ago. I think going back to work and walking around is the best thing I could have done. I don't really do anything (nobody will let me), but I walk back and forth between the rides and around the Kali River Rapid's flume when it's drained.

I will be very careful tomorrow and won't do anything stupid. I won't have the car jacked up too high - then I can almost slip the tires on and off.

How are you feeling after your steroid injections? Like the Hulk?

Like a OLD Hulk.
It took about 5 days , but the shocks are few and far between now , been avoiding the Pain meds , just to really see how I feel. Only time i get zapped is when I get in the wrong position. This is a good thing , and I see the Doc friday.

Who said it wasn't? In bone stock form, it'll peel out like no one's business!
What most of us are saying is that you'll get additional HP from a CAI.

The regular tires will no doubt break loose easier than the ones you have on, so you will most likely easlily tell the difference.

Oh, you're no fun! Where's your sense of adventure?

Not with my tires it won't.

Oh, of course I would - but I have 8 to 10 more coming this week, I hope! With the 93P it wouldn't slide around the corner like that. You guys underestimate the concept of really good tires (it's not just an excuse I'm using). This 93R acceleration rate may have just surpassed my tire grip. I turned into my ride backstage at Animal Kingdom coming in to work today in 2nd gear, and slid through the entire turn with the wheels spinning. Too bad nobody was there to see it. (That my have been from watching Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift the other night, though).

I'll surely let you know! I'll look dumb driving the car like that, but I'll see how easily it breaks loose. All the way to work today, there was no chance I would lose control at a stop light from a normal take-off.

I don't need another surgery.

Leo may need a set of these super sticky BFG's when he goes out to the track.

Good point on not needing another surgery.

Hey, next time, set up a camcorder on a tripod and shoot yourself going around that Animal Kingdom turn, but please don't Tokyo Drift into the camera!

Tom-Sounds like your feeling a little to good.

BTW-I should have pics of my 04 v6 tires by tomorrow. I cleaned them this past weekend but kept forgetting to charge the camera.

Called CDC and finally got a tracking number. Looks like it should be here on Thursday.

OK, opinion time again. (**** starting to sound like Leo )
What do you guys think about THESE.
I was thinking about getting Black w/Medium Gray Surged Edge, to match the IUP theme.

Please vote.
#1 Black w/Medium Grey (or Silver) Surged Edge
#2 All Black
#3 Another Color Combination (Please list)
#4 Another Brand of Mats

I am leaning toward #1, unless someone can talk me out of it.

I vote #4.
Ford Racing up front and custom black ones (from that ebay seller, which is the same guy that sold me my rears) in black. Oh wait, that's just like my set-up.

OR

Option #2, all black

I don't want any floor mat with a logo or design in the middle of it, right where my feet rest. Doesn't make sense to me, it will just get dirty, and wear faster there.
A logo along the side is fine, like the Ford Racing Mats that Bill has.

***EDITED***
The trunklid is ready, the only reason it's still there is because of the glass issue. The service manager just called me and told me that the car would be ready before Friday. He said he's still waiting on an answer from his boss about the glass and that he would contact me later on today.

Ok then I vote option 2 or these from CDC. They also have one's with the GT logo if you want those instead of the pony.
