Yeah, I'm hoping to be compensated with a car the runs and don't blow up....would that be a nice bonus?

100% It's no fun having a disabled car.

I've seen a production iron block 351W split length-wise along the block once before. Weirdest thing ever. The Intake was holding the motor together and once the intake was off there was a 1/2 -1 inch crack all along the lifter valley and on both ends of the block

But no holes or windows. Glad it wasn't mine

I've always thought that the 351w is a stroked 302, not that it's much better or stronger, just more cubes... Either way the engine was almost in two halves.

and running a little funny

The 351 blocks are a taller deck version of the small block, and are thicker between the cylinder webbing area, at least before 1986. When hydraulic lifters were added later, they became a little thinner, but not as much as the 302.
When that guy was running that car he may be guessing; "geez, I think some spark plugs failed, ah well, it's an easy fix".

huh... ya learn something new everyday..... I guess I need to look up more info on the windors. The Cleveland I knew was different but always that the "W" was just a stroked 302. Thanks for the info

Yeah he was surprised, I took a pic too but the crappy cell phone didn't do a good job at it so I tossed the pic.

BTW Steve (where ever you are... ), are you going to the Shelby show?

I'm clearing a clogged drain rather than enjoying a burger in El Segundo with the guys!

As far as the car shows, I'm doing neither

I upgraded to 3.1 a couple days ago. Haven't tested it on my BlueAnt yet.. it better work.

Good to meet most of the POTR crew lastnight at the Counter. Leo was right, the Peppercorn steak sauce is the bomb!

same here. Great to see the POTR crew again, even if only for a short time. The peppercorn sauce was the bomb.

I updated to 3.1 and I can't tell a difference in any function. Everything works like it was before.
