No.. can always use more. But to take it to the next level is going to cost some major bucks!

Congrats on the the Supercharger Ray. Any idea who your going to have do the install? I'm guessing GTR since Jed has your ear.

Ray/Sal-I've got an auto tranny with 430rwhp and no problems yet. (Knock on wood).

Locked myself out of my garage so I can't go to work until the front office people show up at 8:30.
Thanks Leo. We will probably end up at ST because that's where Adam had it installed but he's also gonna call RET and see if there is any major price difference. I'll probably find out tonight.

I'm not too worried about the tranny or bottom end yet. You guys drive your cars way harder than I do.

So have you thought of what kind of hp#'s you want?

BTW-Ordered my Steeda UCA from Stage3Motorsports today. Cost me $119 shipped. Should be here before the end of the week.

Adam says he was pushing 8 to 10 psi and getting 430 rwhp. I'm thinking about the same for me. I don't think I'll push it too much past anything that's recommended, but we'll see.

That is a safe number, but as usual it's all in the tune. Just make sure who ever you go to knows that you want to keep it as reliable as possible.

Of the shops both RET and ST, I think, are the best to choose from locally.

Feeling a lot better thanks!

Well after seeing the supershaker in person I was not impressed, especially on how high it sits.
But I saw a picture of it with the SC hood and it looks great! So hopefully something happens on
the job front...

+1, it does look a lot better with that hood.

On the other hand... how much would a lowered motor mount make, or take the std. lowered mount another 1/4-1/2 lower ??

Yeah it sit's a bit high but it could be easily fixed with some shaved motor mounts. Don't let something that small get in the way of an awesome looking blower/shaker combo.

Brian-If your serious about getting the extra chin spoiler...

I mostly agree about the tune statement. Unfortunately, outside the obvious, there is no set number whether it be rwhp, timing, or A/F when the stock internals decide to let go. So based on that, the tuner goes with what he feels as 'safe', but may not necessarily be the case. Bottom line, freak things can go wrong, and most always at the wrong time.

Agree on the shops. But you should always go over their work just to make sure nothing was accidentally left undone for peace of mind.

This is a hard one to answer. The SuperShaker is obvious, but was not an option back in Feb last year.
If I could turn back the clock, I think I would've went with the polished Paxton/Novi with I/C. The only reason not a TS is purely cosmetic because I wanted to keep my shaker scoop at all costs.

That scoop is my car's personality and I don't think I would get rid of it even today.

For the labor part, I would've went with RET for the whole thing from the start.

Oh how I would've altered the course of history had I did the above.

+2

I think 1/4 to 1/2" is pretty accurate.

I think the shakers on your cars are awesome.

Hey... what do you think my car would look like with a shaker?!
