My stock rims are going on eBay tomorrow night... or next Thursday.

Pimp my ride! That's why I went with the same style, but 18's instead of 20's.
No I haven't and I hope don't. I think 18's the best size.

That attachment (Attachment 9786) is with the 20's on my car. I drove around with them for a week and decided to get the 18's instead. (You missed all of that decision making a few months back... right Bill? Daryl? Susan?)

Tom- I'd do the same but I'm not at all familar with ebay.
Bill-I'm not going to get my hopes up. I think it's just to get more people to show up. You never know though so I'll have my camera. I can't believe you didn't take your stang. Do you plan on atleast putting a thousand miles on it before you hand it over to Chris?

Just wondering since every so often I drive it from San Diego to LA I don't want a trumpet in my ear for 2 hours. I remember how your's sounded on the street but let's just say you weren't doing everyday driving then. Just wondering how it sounds when your not accelerating.
I don't think it was silver paint, more like some type of coating on the pipes. I wouldn't worry about it.

Believe it or not, the O/R H is only slightly louder than what you have now going 70mph or so. It's only when you get on it does it change attitutes!

In combination with your Flows, I think you'll be happy with the sound. I you had the Stingers, it may be a bit crazy. With the SLP Loudmouths, totally insane.

Ahhh I see. I guess it doesn't look to bad. So why'd you chose to go 18" instead?

Bill- I hope it's a Mach1 so I can order all the parts from KC when they become available.

I don't say that.

Oh, by the way, did you place your order with BamaChips yet? You know you want it!

OK tks. I was worried I'd become annoyed with them on long trips and want to remove them. In Bill I trust.

Not yet I'll be placing it Monday or Tuesday of next week. BTW I ordered the 281 emblems. Bill did you see the pics I posted of the blue shaker shroud about 80 pgs back now?

Yup, we talked Tom out of the pimp'n look. Otherwise, we would've chipped in for a chicken feather hat for him! Maybe some fuzzy dice too!

They didn't have to talk too much to talk me out of them. I wanted more RETRO and less BLING. We just kept comparing pictures of 20's and 18's and 20's and 18's and 20's and 18's... and so on... to make sure the 18's would still look good. And they did! And do!

Currently up for bid on eBay: 2005-2007 Mustang GT Summit Racing Exhaust (sounds like Flowmasters, but less expensive).

I just noticed this on your sig.

I want to say 2800-3100 not really sure. I don't look at that to much since I don't have to worry about shifting.

(Sorry Darryl)

I think it looks more down to business in black. I once seen a pic of the Shaker scoop painted Torch Red, did absolutely nothing for me.

You know I wouldn't mind if you happened to post that you have two sets for sale.

Holy crapola! That's too high!

Check it out next time you're on the freeway and report back. Your cruising rpm's have alot to do with how the exhaust will sound.

Wow I didn't expect that. I will agree that scoop painted looks like . I thought the color matched shroud was pretty sweet looking. Oh well different strokes for different folks.
