I think I found a wire you can use. I played around a little bit this morning with the accessories to find a keyed lead that stays on while cranking and after testing 3 or 4 I think I found one. I don't know if you have heated seats or not but either way the wiring harness should be the same with or without. I put my key to the on position and turned on the heated seat and the l.e.d. came on the switch. I then cranked it and in never went off or even flickered which is exactly what you need and should be easy enough to get to. Are your gauges in the center or on the pillar?

I know the feeling, I'm still not ready.

Sorry to hear about the scratch. I'm clueless as to why people do this stuff, intentional or accidental.

I know its of little help, but before going into distress over this, just compare it to my ongoing problems and it should make you feel a little better.

I know Bill, I still feel for ya, that's why I said it could be worse. I still feel like though. I guess for a mostly daily driver you can only hold your breath so long

Sorry to hear about the scratch Robbie!

Great thread Brian! What a tool!!

What do you think about black wheels? I have a line on some PJ wheels in black. Not really looking to change but if the price is right I'll get them.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just have the current ones powdercoated?

No, I want to keep my silver ones, not really looking to change just spice things up.

So Leo Why are you getting rid of your a-arm brace? going with something else?

So Leo Why are you getting rid of your a-arm brace? going with something else?
Makes sense. With that said the black one's don't look bad but I prefer the one's you've got now.

2 reasons...

1) My current a-arm brace and pretty much any other mfg's a-arm is straight across. BMR on the other hand has a dip, bend, whatever you want to call it that leaves room to fit a socket over the oil drain plug. Currently I'm having to use a wrench.

2) Since I'm switching the PHB and PHB support to BMR I'd like to try and keep all that stuff from the same company simply for "AR" (**** retentive) reasons. Plus I'll be getting rid of a GMS part on my car.

I know, I know, I've still got the GMS swaybar delete. But that may go when I get the Eibach swaybars. Like I told Bill once I get my ghetto skinnies I'm going to the track and seeing if I improve at all. I'll record those times and then go back the next time with the front swaybar on. If my times don't increase then I'll leave it on. Yes I know I'm .

Robbie- Forgot to mention your scratch is almost identical in severity to mine. My scratch is located on the pass. fender right after the opening where the door ends and fender begins. So if that paint stuff works for me it should work for you. Although mine might hide a little better since it's black. Checked UPS tracking and the kit won't be arriving until early next week.

OK, I look forward to hearing the results. Did you put something on the scratch temporarily to keep it from getting rust on the bare metal until you repair it? Also were did you get the kit, was it from Moss along with the filter or somewhere else?

Looks good George. If the price for the black wheels are too good to pass up, get them. If pretty expensive, I'd pass on it.

Good thing about having a second set of wheels is that you can change the look of the car any time you want... and have 4 spares!

I used some clear nail polish for now. I got the kit from "autogeeks" I believe it was $40.

Check it out. Stoptech/Roush big brake kit will fit with stock 18's as long as you use a 1" spacer.
