I was wondering about your 50% tint the other day looking at your new links... 50% would be very, very light. Are you sure you don't have 15% or even darker? I'm going to get mine 20% all the way around with the strip across the front also in 20%.
I think you would like 35% on the lights. You could go to Wal-Mart and get a roll for cheap and do it yourself. If it's too dark (just lay it on to check), then you can return it for a lighter tint. That's what Burke0011 did here:
You're right it's 15-20 on my windows. Tks for the pics but I think that's still to dark. Like I said I want something very light.

Went to SDMC meeting tonight
Well I finally went to the San Diego Mustang Club monthly meeting tonigt. I have to say it was pretty cool getting to meet fellow mustang nuts. This guy named sean let me drive his auto gt with jlt and tune. It was awesome I think I'll be calling Bamachips tomorrow morning. The difference is amazing and he didn't even have a bamachips tune so I can't imagine how much better it will feel with the bamachips tune. It's great to hear and feel an auto chirp all the way through third. I'm sold appearance mods have now been put on the back burner. I'm ordering my tuner tomorrow and plan on getting gears put in hopefully by the end of sept. Heehheheh So I guess all I typed earlier is now irrelevant.

I'm back in CA!
Forgot to mention that I saw one of the local Kona PD in a 03/04 Cobra. Best looking police car I've seen there!
Looks like the local police drive their own vehicles and just install the blue light on the roof.
I'll catch up on the other posts after I get settled in...

Glad you made it back OK and I'm sure you had a blast.

Well I got my Shelby GT500. Only makes 398 to the ground. If it is ice cold it will bang out 419 once and then the intercooler gets hot and it goes back to 390-something land. I then added a 3" exhaust and a Cold Air Intake and now it is up to 474 HOT and 490 Cold So I am happy again.

Yeah, the single blue light doesn't look pretty, especially when they're on behind you.

Thanks Daryl and Leo too.
Pics of my trip has been updated in my bucket album. Check'um out, will pull it off of my 'Mustang' album soon.
I agree, the Shaker draws stares and looks for sure. Probably because nobody has the nads to cut a hole in their hoods!

Well, no more updates, all uploads are now complete.
The small sequence of pics from the Hawaiian Air shot to the Dole pineapple ones are from our 1 day hop to Oahu. Time was short, never made it to North Shore.

Awhile back I started this post talking about the Dual Snorkel set-up. Then, on page 2, I put the link to pictures of the finished product. I like what Vinyl66 had to say!

I knew I liked the looks of it, but I thought for sure others would chastise me for going back to a "stock" look, but I guess not.

Well the other day I saw this on a NG , and out of Impulse went and ordered it. Got it in on Monday , and unwrapped one. LOOKS GREAT BUT.............the freakin color don`t match!!
How many different shades of Preformance White can there be for a 06 GT???? Even the color guide only has one. It`s too brite. WAY too brite.
Gonna Zaino `em and leave them in the sun for a couple of days and see if that clears it up to matchin.
Sheese!

If you are putting them in the sun to fade them a little, I wouldn't Zaino them first... the sun protectant in the Zaino will help them keep their color.
At least they aren't Performance-Faded-White-Kinda-Yellow... like our bumper covers!

Found these right now they're pricey but if you want rousch louvers prepainted then I guess you'll buy them. I like the price of the ones you found but I just perfer the look of the CDC louvers. If I could find those prepainted I'd be all over it.
