I believe Jed only charges beer and food.
D'HO!

You got me on that one....

Jeds Garage.....I thought it was a regular shop.....got me all excited about keeping my hands clean.

Either place would be fine (food and beer goes without saying) I just don't want to be a bother to any one.....

Swanson just called me...

Good news and bad news.

Good - Motor is out, heads pulled.

Bad - Damage to #8 cylinder head caused by fragmented piston. Windage tray also damaged. Block cracked in 2 places.

I'll be stopping by the shop after work today to check it out.

Ouch!! Dam they could've atleast waited until after the holiday weekend to break the bad news. That suck's Bill. Good thing once it does get put back together it will be indestructable.

Sal-I've heard of the place but never been. Count me in for that one.

Yeah, thats what I expected to hear.....I've blown a helluva lotta sh*t up and usually when pistons/rods let go you can just jack up the carburetor and slide a new motor underneigth.....

I went yesterrday for the first time....the cars are actually pretty dang fast and good handling.....took me back to my stock car days......except that I'm old now and got tired quickly (whats that weezing sound in my helmet?)

Very nice facility too....you must see this.

One bad thing though....the first corner I hit on the way home I wanted to throw my mustang in the trash....I forgot how good GOOD was and how bad average was.....

I was afraid of this happening. I have to see what my options are at this point regarding the heads. Really doesn't matter, I'll be out more $$$$.

I feel sick to my stomach, no joke.

Nice that we got him all volunteered for this and he doesn't even know it....
