Very very nice George. I could reload some great ammo for you, give you a hot load and you could push 250 or 275 grains, that would be a thud when it hit

I have a hot load I did for my S&W 44 Mag, gets around 1850 fps pushing 240 grains and hits with a ton of force almost literary I'm kind of a revolver man lately although I have a nice Sig Sauer 229 .40S&W that has a great load I did

I visited Costal High Perfomance / Probe Industries got a quote on their Pro Street set-up for Forged internals. Looks like if they inspect and use your old block you might as well do a .020 overbore. That way your cylinders are in alignment for the new goodies, plus you get more CID! Bill they were saying that the new forged crank (made by Kellog) rated @ 700HP has 8 bolts vs 5 does your mod have the same situation at MMR? They said they use rods made by RPM that are 4340 steel. Bill did you include a Main Girdle Mod?

PROBE

That's a good point. I'm pretty sure I'm getting the 8-flywheel bolt crank and whether that's compatible to my stock flywheel, I dunno. I'll e-mail Danny about this.
Also getting the H-Beam 4340 rods w/ARP bolts (good up to 800hp).

Not sure about any main girdle mod.

I read somewhere that boring out a 4.6 aluminum block wasn't recommended, but instead, use a stroker crank to get the extra CI's (to 296). It may have been Livernois seeing that they don't offer overbored blocks.

Good article I found about forged pistons. Looks like there's a higher noise level when cold until the engine gets up to operating temperature.
Sounds cool to me though.

4.6 Forged Pistons
