I'm not going to get involved anymore with JR or GMS. I think Leo may have it when he said whats in the guys mind isn't translating well to what he writes in the forum. Personally I think he's an idiot, he really could have done himself well with some forethought and....................Oh enough. I hope the thread does not turn into Turbo III, I know I'm not going to say anything in it, I've enjoyed reading along and learning. Thanks Tom!

 

The way he talks to me in PMs is totally different than the way he is in the forum. We were talking back and forth in PMs and then I went to the thread and saw his post, and I was like... WTF???

Some of the "experts" on that thread are making the car sound worse than it is... WAY worse. Then, some of the people (like Chuck ) buy into it and really think I've ended up with a bum deal, or think I'm being screwed...

I'm going to give Kyle a ride in the car (or he'll drive it) on the 12th or 13th. Then he can tell you all how "crappy" the car is.

 

I have found that you really have to try to be decent at times on forums.... It is so easy to read something wrong and go confrontational. I think it is largely due to the fact that you can't see the person who you are talking to. JR has not learned this yet. That is on reason I like to use emoticons, you can help defuse a potentially confrontational dialog before it gets hot.

See I'm probably guilty of putting foot in mouth as well and being misinterpreted.

Doing some of the communications in a thread vs. PM's or phone or Email is probably a recipe for disaster or what happened in Turbo I thread. I just hope Turbo II thread can stay out of the gutter.

 

Good info about wheel spacer and wheel adapters from people who probably subject their cars to alot harsher things that we would.
