Ponies on The Run!
I hate to tell you this Bill...
But your exhaust manifolds aren't living up to the standards of the rest of the engine compartment! Yer just gonna have to do something about them!
Sorry, couldn't resist!
I would take off mine and paint them, the high temp exhaust paint works well and I have used it before, but that's a lot of work to do for that gain. It seems like a waste to take them off and then put the stock ones on... But the extra cost of ceramic coated shorties ain't worth it either!

Nice try John. No way in hell am I going to cut loose of $800+ for CARB Approved shorties. Now, if JBA lowers them to $250-$300 (like everyone else's shorties), I'll be all over them like a Bum on bologna sandwich!
Next on my mod list...
Raptor shift light.
Found a seller on ebay that's selling them for $85 shipped ($7 cheaper than Raptor direct).
I'm planning on mounting it inside the left-center air vent. I'll have to look inside the vent to see if the black or silver Raptor housing blends in better before placing my order.

BTW, you may want to look into putting it right in the center of the gauge cluster. That way you don't have to worry about heat/AC and all from the vents. Here's a pic on mine:

I'll be checking out the vent idea today. I'm not too concerned with the heat/AC; I'm pretty sure it's still withing the operating temperature.
However, I was looking at the opening where the adjustments are made. If I do mount it in the vent, I'll probably have that opening pointing down.
How did you fasten down the mounting clip? And how did you route the wires?

for the wires: I separated the wires by removing the "jacket" (which was a little bit of a PITA). But, that way, I was able to connect the ACC to the same connection as my mirror (on the passenger side kick panel), the ground to a regular chassis ground, and the "trigger" to the coil pack wire (ran through a hole in the firewall near the pedals...hole is behind the foam)
I hope that helps.

Bill-Love the camcovers. I wouldn't worry about your shorties since they're no brown like mine. I still think you should install the shift light in the vent JMO.
Where's Mike (black vert) been?
There was another car next to it too.

Sorry my camera is so crappy.
My wife took the good one when she left.
I'm not too restricted at work, but literally the only people that get "wide-open" access are the executive team and IS. Being on the net is very frowned upon, so to stay out of trouble I've been staying off quite a bit lately.
Have some pics from the Brea Car show, didn't stay too long to get alot... will post them a little later on.
jeez... did that happen to everybody ??

But I'm sure it’s only a matter of time. If you work at home you can jump on the net when your not tunneling in which is kind of kool but I don't work at home (yet - I could and will when the time comes)

I wouldn't mind working from home, I could get to like that.
Anyway, here is the link to the pics that I took

Oh Yeah... Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. I'm off to take my dad to his fav-o-rite BBQ joint in Huntington Beach !!! granted it's my favorite too
I can check it now and then at work, but can't keep the window open 8 hours a day.

I thought at least Brian would have heard of Geocaching. I'll have my GPS on Wednesday. I found it for $30 cheaper!
