Okay, I'm all for running stock headers/cams but why buy SHORTY headers? Don't forget a throttle body spacer

Boost should cover it all. Everything else is a waste of money IMO... especially shorty headers.

I think shorty headers are good for show and nothing more.

Only NA guys should be looking for every ounce of power

Leo's running 7.6. His 1/4 is unknown and no ricer math will get him into the 11's Fontana Leo

The Headers are my bad because I didn't ask...I just assumed since they look like JBA's....
JBA is the only company that makes CARB legal shorty headers. You've got the money... find someone to pass you

Show is the ONLY reason I did them...I fully understand there is no power there.

Doing shows are so yesterday.

Really Sal, you need more trophies to your already massive collection?

btw, this is for your impulse buy on those 'I thought they were CARB approved' shorties.

Yup, I got them at some ridiculous price of ~$420... but that deal is long gone!

True, I got them for looks and looks alone. I just couldn't pass them up since it was free labor to install them.

+ CARB stamp on my Vortech and JBA shorties

- No cats and will fail the mobile dyno miserably

Basically, I'm screwed.

I tossed my trophy collection in the dumpster when I moved to Hawaii...they are long gone and my car show trophys also get tossed...I don't need that.

The slap I deserve because I didn't think about what i was doing since i have been crazy busy at work....my bad. Big time.

The labor on mine are free too since my motor is already out....thats why I hurried to buy them....so they would go on the new motor when it goes in.

Leo, he's also got some nice polished fuel rails too. Without the tap in them.

the ONLY time the labor is worth the negligible gains is when the motor is out.
