These are NSR- no springs required. You can see the description at the Brenspeed website under twinscrew blower cams. These are the same that are now in my car.

Nope they're the "economy" type.

Looks like Luis will be taking everything off my hands. Sad thing is all that money is going to help pay for install and all the other crap I still need. Told you guys this was my main beef with going FI. It's all the little additional crap you need for the blower that kills you. I'm just glad that I got the SC for so cheap that the total price of everything will barely be the cost of a brand new SC (Depending on setup you choose).

The billet one's are obviously billet and the "economy" one's are cast. Essentially they're like your stock plates without the butterfly or the holes for the butterfly. I'm pretty sure Bill, Jed, George, Brian and myself are all running the "economy" type.

Do you even see them? What would be the advantage of getting billet is my question?

Don't worry Leo, I'm not backing out either way

I am not running any delete plate at all.

IMO, the only reason for the Billet would be the surface that sees the air flow is somewhat smoother than the economy plates. I don't believe that the difference would be that great as to make a performance difference.

You can... kinda see them on the car, after you look past the valve covers, spark plugs and injectors.

I think the billet is made to withstand some stupid amount of hp that unless your planning on running 600+ hp you won't have to worry about. As far as looks I doubt you could tell and either way they're covered under so much crap that what is visible is very minimal.

So you mean you still got the factory plates in there? I thought that was a big no no for FI apps. Reason being it just gave you something else that could fail cause your engine to go boom!

No... I have no plate at all, of any type on my car. The Whipple manifold does not have any kind of plate. It's wide-open all the way.

Unlike some of the lower-rung superchargers that rely on the stock setup and all of it's potential restrictions

Dam it's gone from FI Vs NA to FI Vs FI. Can't we all just get along?

I just spent my blower money on an off-road toy. It's gonna be my post apocalypse daily driver.

With some as of yet to be determined modifications.

Instead of outrunning them, I'll just run over them.

Nice, I've had an Expedition for about 10 years now and always been happy with it but I always liked the Bronco's and wish they hadn't disco'd them although thats basically what the X is.

My father had an '81 Bronco back when I was a kid. It was a 351 with dual straight pipes, headers, 3/4 racing cam, and I forget what carb he had on it. I had a lot of fun in that thing as a kid. I've been searching for about 6 months for one, and this one came up on a lot about 90 miles south of here. Was very happy to see how clean it was. No dings, and only major rust was at bottom of tailgate. It's a '96, the last year made, and I'm currently trying to figure out what I want to do with it.

You can't run them over if you can't catch them.
