Wow don't even recognize that engine!!!
Forward progress is definitely happening. Everything is pretty much assembled on the motor.
I'm still looking at early next week. It's okay, just a few more days won't kill me.

- Stock windage tray can't bolt back to the block because of the ARP mainstuds. Solution, you're outta here!
- Anti-knock sensor had to be epoxied on the block. Why? New MMR block had the bosses for the sensors ground down (maybe for a sc Cobra).
- New alignment dowels had to be ordered lastweek because the MMR block did not come with any.
- New Fidanza aluminum flywheel! Can you say '1st gear is no good?'
- New Centerforce DF clutch (in box, hope it's the right one)
- NAPA 5w30 reg oil, oil filter, and coolant ready to go.
It will soon be all worth it though

Well no track for me tonight. Went with the Wife and Sis-In-Law to Dave & Busters. Looks like it's Barona tomorrow night for me. I may hold off though considering I'll be there next Friday. To bad you guys aren't closer as I'm home alone again for the weekend. And looks like it will be that way again next weekend. Good thing atleast Brian and Luis will be here next Friday for Barona.

<rant> f'n verizon. Got two calls today and an email saying that my DSL is up and running. Just spent an hour plus with "Steve" in India to only have to call back twice a d finally get someone to tell me that billing f'd up and I have to call them to get it turned on.... You know the same billing dept that told me twice that I was ready to go. Jeebus it's not like this is heart surgery how f'n hard can it be. I moved 200 feet away from
the old place. STUPID GAWD DAMMED people</rant>

Motor should be in the car by today. I stress 'should'.
I sure hope it'll be ready by Wed, so I can check it's drivability IF I decide to head down to San Diego Friday... we'll see.

Hey driving back from Pasadena today I drove by a bunch of dealerships (Ford/Non Ford) and I couldn't believe how many used Stangs are on the lots. The economy and gas prices are taking a toll.
