I'm still looking at early next week. It's okay, just a few more days won't kill me.
  • Stock windage tray can't bolt back to the block because of the ARP mainstuds. Solution, you're outta here!
  • Anti-knock sensor had to be epoxied on the block. Why? New MMR block had the bosses for the sensors ground down (maybe for a sc Cobra).
  • New alignment dowels had to be ordered lastweek because the MMR block did not come with any.
  • New Fidanza aluminum flywheel! Can you say '1st gear is no good?'
  • New Centerforce DF clutch (in box, hope it's the right one)
  • NAPA 5w30 reg oil, oil filter, and coolant ready to go.
Danny asked me if I want him to put an ultra-conservative tune on it or stay with what's in it now (Brenspeed tune). I told him we'll leave the Brenspeed tune in. He asked if it ran good with it? Told him it ran like a raped ape until things went sounth. He thought it was funny.

Getting closer look out! Wow the end is in sight. We need to get a vid of you leaving Swansons driving into the sunset. Keep us Beeatches posted.

Mailed in to attend the following shows in SoCal and San Diego

Mustang by the Beach
Queen Mary XII
Santa Margarita

I'm trying to attend shows I didn't last year. I may visit the Shelby Santa Monica show. Being on the pier would be cool but feedback is a lot of bird poop Dang sea gulls

I'm going to the track either tonight or tomorrow night haven't decided yet. I'm getting shorty headers from Brian sometime this month.

The page now has something stang related.

Here we go! Are you installing those headers yourself? I know it's a PITA When is the Taco Garage open for business again?

Yes and No. Install is happening at Bill/Kevins, Brian's or Georges when
a) Brian finally get's the headers
b) whenever any of the 3 garages are available.

Remember we chatted about this but have been waiting for Brian to complete his year long move.

HAHA... what timing....

Just got a call from Jason at 281 that JBA has not gotten back to him yesterday or today on how JBA wants to proceed with me paying for the coating. Apparently when they do give aways no one ever pays more for the coated headers or gets the axle-backs instead. JBA has some sort of server problem and don't expect to get back to 281 until Monday.

Waiting game for me at the moment (for once)

You probaly need to drive up the night before, jack the car up so its ready and cold the next morning for surgery. Calling doctor Leo! Once Bill get his ride back I'm sure his installs will take priority. The man has D-Spec's, Springs a SWAY bay! Maybe during your install you can put your Sway bar back on and join the rest of us

The year long more I thought I had a lot of crap nice to know I'm not alone as a pack rat.

The Rat!

I'm in no mood to even install MY mods. Maybe it's the weather.. no wait, I know, it's because I've been car-less for the past friggin 6 months!

Motivation has hit an all time low. I remember the times I used to sneek in mini-installs during the weekday.

On yesterday's post, forgot to mention that Danny ordered 8 new HT0 plugs. 7 of my original set are practically new, but heh.. what do I know. Yay! That means another $90!

Now let me go look for my Xanax.
