Luis is laughing at the header??

Leo, congrats on the PS3. Chris had one early on, but only played Resistance Fall of Man. Back then there were only a handful of games for it.
btw, Blue Ray is only good if you have a 1080P.

I'm with you David, centri's are clean! ... at least my setup will be.

MMR Update #????

Another delay.

I called them this afternoon to arrange the engine drop off plans for tomorrow. Well, as my luck would have it, it's not ready.

Apparently, a part (didn't say what part) was found to be defective and a replacement is scheduled to be overnighted (meaning Tuesday).

So now, my new DOC is next Wed/Thurs. Yeah, they apologized to no end, but here I am.. no engine, no car.

No matter the weather, it continues to rain on my head.

George, I may hit you up for that beer real soon.

It may not be as good without 1080P but it looks better than DVD at 720P.

is up with that. That's total bs. They said 2-3 weeks and now it's closer to a month. We need to take a trip to MMR and start busting some heads.

Sorry to hear that Bill, it really sucks. By now you could have had 8 more miles on the car. Youll have to go to the 7-11 twice in one week to make up for it when you get it done

That's true.
BUT, a $60 Upconvert DVD player with HDMI support will display the same as a Blue Ray on a 720P/1080i.

Guess I'll be heading there sometime next week afterall. They offered to meet me half way, but later in the afternoon... but that will kill me in traffic.
Looks like I may make a day of it and cruise up the coast in the morning and do lunch out there.
I will push for a free t-shirt though.

I'll do more than take trips to 7-11!

Hi guys just checking in..... I admit I haven't read the last 5 pages that I've missed but I gather:

1) Bill's not up and running yet....
2) Habu hasn't hit 11's yet- have you even hit the track yet?
3) Leo hasn't hit the 12's yet, but potentially could bypass those altogether when he gets blown and goes straight to the 11s?
4) And lonely Luis is lusting after FI power.....

Oh and Trooper still thinks turbos are the best thing since instant mashed potatos or sliced bread.... .......and everyone else in POTR is doing just fine.

Negatron... "An upscaling DVD simulates a 1080p picture by doubling the number of lines displayed on your HDTV. Since the content on the DVD is not high definition, it will not match the picture quality or clarity of true 720/1080p source content on a Blu-ray Disc."

You're still in the clouds. Picture is still 720P/1080i on YOUR hdtv no matter how you slice it.

Missing key words from your quote.. "An upscaling DVD simulates a 1080p picture by doubling the number of lines displayed on your HDTV. I agree with Bill on the A/V info...... Using a blu-ray player on anything less than 1080p equipment is, well, kinda like having a blower without an intercooler.

Ah, hahahhahahahaaa

At this point Tom, everything is starting to look funny.

I just hope that the punch line doesn't knock me out!

*Newb Question* Is there a way to see what tune (if theres even any loaded) is currently on my car? Like is there a way to make see what the cars running. And is there anyway a tune can just dissapear once loaded into the car? Or onces its downloaded its there untill someone changes it?

Random questions I know.

Thanks Tom.
It would really help me if you could do a synopsis twice a week from now on.

There's probably a way to make the tuner read what tune is already loaded but I don't know anything about it. As far as a tune disappearing, it is possible but not likely. It would be there until someone removes/edits it.

If you're ever in doubt of what tune you're running, you could always flash the car back to stock and then re-load the tune you want.

I've had this problem. Problem is I got used to the 93 Performance tune and now I need more freakin' power. 93 Performance seems like stock now! I'm givin' her all she's got captain!!!!
