Passenger Seat Question

I've got a 2012 GT Premium in my garage that I drove home from the dealership Saturday. I wanted to drive it a day or so before agreeing to the purchase. It's new with only 129 miles on it. The issue is the passenger seat.
My wife is 5 feet tall and she can barely see over the dash in the passenger seat. So here's my question.

Is there any way to raise it? I know the Comfort Package comes with a 6-way adjustable seat just like the driver's, plus heated seats. Is there any way to install that option at the dealership? They told me earlier that they could install heated seated, but that would run $700. I know the Comfort Package only costs $595. If they can't do it, I'll probably tell them I want to order one and let them sell this one to someone else.

If anyone knows if the Comfort Package can be added as a dealer add on, please let me know.

Just take it to the dealer you got it from and they should be able to install it for you.

I don't see how a dealer could economically add the comfort package. Wiring harnesses, Heater buttons, PCM programming, power tracks, Power seat control switches, messing with upholstery, etc ....

Just find another car with Comfort package would be much easier .

Hi Michael Broadway,

This will not be a cheap upgrade by far. There are too many things your dealer will have to upgrade just to change out the seat. The whole Comfort Package is also something they won’t be able to fully install, let alone at the “factory package” price. I can help you find one around your area with the options you’d like or if you decide to place a new order, let me know so I can track it for you.

Let Deysha find you another car. If you don't get it from the factory, it's gonna cost a *lot* more to add. That's how it always is...

Then again, if she can't see over the dash, she can't tell you to slow down.

Just installed seat heaters and extra foam padding in my 05 myself for less than $200.
