As in, less than 10 days away

It's getting closer to being HERE

I can't wait !!!!

The car was built on Wednesday 7-25-2012 and is currently on a train somewhere in NY ... the ETA-to-dealer is August 8th, but it may be here sooner

On a side note, it's looking more and more like the Charger will be the trade-in, and NOT the Focus ... it'd be the more sensible thing to do to keep the Focus instead of having 2 gas-guzzlers ... plus, there are some things with the Charger that have always bugged me and there are noises that I just don't want to hear anymore ...

Well, it's here !!!

It was unlucky enough to arrive with a broken-off passenger-side mirror.
It will get replaced before I take delivery.

I stopped by today with my girlfriend and took it out for a spin

I only wound it out to about 5500 RPM (it goes to 7,000) but it was still freakin awesome ... I can't wait to take delivery

Yay!! I love that color!! My last Mustang was grey I miss it sometimes!! I traded it for my new one. I ordered mine also and the freaking salesman lost my number, it was there for a week before I went there and said where's my car!?!?! But there's no better feeling in the world to sit in it for the first time congratulations!!!!

 

Took delivery this morning, got it home, took some pics before anything else

2013 Mustang GT, Sterling Gray, 5.0L 6-speed manual, 420hp, 390 ft-lbs torque, Recaro cloth seats , Track package (Boss radiator, Boss rear diff with 3.73 Torsen limited-slip, Brembo brakes, engine oil cooler, Performance friction brake pads, 19" rims with summer 255/40ZR19 Pirelli tires)

Dude, that's sweet! Congratulations! LOL in your first picture, the relfection on your fender of your sheet made me think you had a HUGE dent there also, and I was like wtf?

Just got home after a nice drive out, even though it's raining now ... this car is a freakin blast !!!

I love it !!!!!

Got a few compliments on it already ... lol

 

And a couple of pics of the Recaro seats ... these things are awesome ... they hold you in place and are so comfortable ... I'm SUPER glad that I was pretty much talked into buying them ... lol

 

And the first mod is ordered : a set of hood struts

Are those Recaro's cloth? I thought they only come in leather for GT's and cloth an option for Boss?

The cloth Recaros are optional on the base/"Deluxe"-model V6 and 5.0L cars.

When you get a "Premium" model, the Recaros are leather.

 

Ahh ok, that's why I don't recall seeing them, I leaped straight to "Premium" and never optioned other choices. Hmmm, I'd almost rather have cloth recaros. I have leather now and it's nice, especially on my current car since it has suede inserts to it's not warm and sticky in summer, freezing in winter.

Cloth would not ever be either.
