In that case its most likely Bright Atlantic Blue, which was a color option in 2000.

The car drives fantastically and the color is actually just a little bit darker than the picture lets on. Im pretty excited it's not technically my first mustang I have my grandfathers '67 but I don't have the money right now to properly restore it

 

As someone who has restored a 65 let me assure you that it takes money. A lot of money. I did most of the work myself on my 65 and it still cost a lot and that was back in the mid 90's. Today you can expect to spend about 20 grand or so on a restoration project if you're doing it right and that's if you don't go wild with it. Not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to let you know what you're in for.

 

Yeah me and my father took a weekend and ran down just the basic restoration and ended up with roughly 17k so needless to say that will wait until after college, actually probaby until after my masters haha

 

Congrats, and yep it's definatley bright Atlantic blue, my favorite sn95 color. Was the color of mine.

 

While I have some individual's attention I was wondering if anyone of you have ever had a convertible mustang and purchased a hard top, a friend got a great deal on one however she doesn't like the soft top look but she's unsure about the hardtop so she's hesitant to spend $1200 without asking people's opinions
