Ok, I decided to buy a Mustang a little while ago, and I supposedly found a "good deal". It's a 2000 GT Coupe for $9,000.

There are some drawbacks and pluses, here they are.

DRAWBACKS:
*Has 82,000 miles

POSITIVES:
*GT V-8 Engine
*Features
*Book value is $11,200...selling it for $9,000
*Locally owned by 1 person who had the oil changed regularly, and who had bought the car brand new from that car lot.
*BEAUTIFUL Car!

Now here are some questions:
1) How long do these V8 engines usually last if properly taken care of?
2) Has anyone ever had any negative Mustang experiences?
3) DO YOU THINK I SHOULD GET THIS?

Sounds like a good deal but Im not sure how long those motors hold up but if he has ran synthetic oil in it for a long time if should last probably about 200k but I dont know how strong those are. Everything else sounds good though.

 

for $9000? i'd say go for it bro!
