Speaking of restaurants, I had to go to Atlanta yesterday in a howling rainstorm and I saw what my be the worst threat to the gastrointestinal tract ever devised by man.
Rain and wind got so bad that I decided to get off at an exit to **** and smoke. Pulled into a travel center/truck stop and it had a Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Popeye's Chicken, and McDonald's all in one store together.

Never heard of Smashburger. But the Backyard Burger that was close to me didn't have a dining room, just a drive thru with a walk up window like Checker's/Rally's.
Smashburgers puts a ball of meat on the grill with a weight on top of it. The weight flattens it into a paddy as it cooks. They started in Denver

Sorry. Was busy helping my mom wrap presents. Have so much to do tomorrow I have no idea how I'm going to get it all done. Relatives are coming sunday for christmas so the house needs to be spick and span.

I'll admit, I did own a Checkers/Rally's restaurant for a while. Good location, it was next to a Walmart and a Home Depot, I loved the food for a while, but now I can only stand to eat the fries after having so much of it.
I know what you mean, hopefully the family visits will be over this weekend, trying to make sure most of them have other plans.

Yeah, I've never heard of Smashburger, don't know what you mean without a bun.

Nate, are you actually allergic to gluten or just avoid it?
A great friend of mine is allergic to it, and finding places for her to eat out can be a bit of a chore, though I see more places adding gluten free to their menus.

And for anyone wondering, GF brownies are 10x better than regular ones. Very rich and fudge-like. I dare you to try one.
