At least when it comes to boardroom type stuff. I'm more "nervous" about getting the presentation to my standards rather than the the actual presenting part. I own that stuff. Always have. Had a 30 minute oral presentation exam to give in 11th grade, every one else was flipping out trying to memorize the whole thing. I took up a card with 4 words on it, and BS'ed the whole thing with no problem. Got the highest grade in the class.
We went last year, and gave a spectacular presentation, our advisor, who quite literally wrote the book on Strategic Management said its flat-out the best presentation he's ever seen, from students, in the boardroom, where ever. We didn't even place because they changed what they were looking for in the presentations, needless to say I was a bit angry.
I don't mean to sound cocky, but I know that if I ever get the chance to be upper management/CEO somewhere big, I'll be excellent in that role, and I don't mean just because I want the paycheck. I consider myself to have all the qualities an excellent CEO needs, the intelligence to understand all aspects of the business, the trust to let people do their jobs, the people skills to keep people happy, the business sense to know when enough is enough, and the common sense that is severely lacking sometimes.
I guess we'll call that my Manifesto!

What happened to the surgeon general conversation? Yes I smoke also. And I drink. And I used to do a lot of drugs. And there's a few more commandments that I just can't seem to obey either. I agree with Lee though. My kids have never seen me smoke a cigarette ever and probably never will.
