I'm a news junkie. I see a headline that piques my interest, click on it, and by the time I'm finished reading it I'll have noticed the headline links from other news outlets at the bottom of their page and see one that interests me, and so on and so on. Next thing I know I'm 8 or 10 sites away from where I started. 
Subsequently, I have more totally worthless knowledge rolling around in my head than actual sense.

I'm so pissed they sucked me in last night.
I watched the whole game just waiting for the first World Series Championship by a team from Texas.
I should have just gone to bed and gotten some extra sleep and read about it in the morning.
