Pretty long and suckish day this Saturday was
I planned to do some errands and go out with my gf, then my best friend pulled over @ my place to see if my neighboring shop would install the front left coil spring on his 90 GT. The guy said that he'd gladly do it, but the shop owner didn't had the special spring compressor for the job. That guy called the owner's brother, who also has his shop nearby. He showed up and told my friend that he couldn't do it for today, my friend asked what day he could and the guy said "not on Monday, but maybe later in the week". My friend told him back, "just tell me if you can or can't do the install, no random stuff". I really felt pissed off by the attitude of said "mechanics" of not wanting to do any work at all, and I told him that I'll put the **** spring if my gf agrees. I called her and told her the whole story and she felt like me, really pissed off by their attitude. She told me "help him, he's your best friend after all, and those guys are just lazy ****s!" I felt bad about cutting our plans, but she's most comprehensive than your average woman The thing is we started to work on the car @ 2pm, and finished about 10:30pm, due to some brain farts of not getting all the tools & parts all at once. The actual spring wen in easier than the other one (right side) since we already got the hang of it. Here are some pics of the works:

19 year old hmmm ... lets see for me it would suck if I could only use my car to go to work, and school, and to run my errands, I guess you can take away video games or phone privileges and they would be doing all the house work for about 2+ weeks depending on how truthful they were about the whole situation. Thats my opinion from a 21 year old
Think back to watching Jurassic Park....that's exactly where we went on the tour.
Thank god! My dad says bleeding brakes is a pain in the ***
We have 7 classes, but even and odd days. On even days we have 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th on odd days.
So nice not having math classes everyday. Unless you get it first period like I did
I'll also add that I didn't learn jack sh*t because it was from 7:45-8:45 in the morning(first period) and I couldn't focus to save my life. I'm not awake till about 9, at best
How do you punish a 19 year old kid... Living with you? Make the kid pay rent.

You know Jill I been thinking about what happened and honestly I would be more crushed if my parents told me that they were disappointed in my actions and that it will be harder to trust me being alone in the house again. Just my opinion.

Well if you can go on for the rest of your life without seeing it, then good for you.

I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Well, my kids already have house cleaning chores they are responsible for doing every day and on the weekend. After all, they live here too and I am not the maid. Can't take her car because it's hers and she makes the payments. Can't take away the phone, again, because it's hers and she makes the payments. Ain't nothin' for free in my house. She doesn't play video games, so that's out too.

Can't do the rent thing either. Our deal with them is that as long as they are still in school, they don't have to pay rent. If they are working and not in school, then they pay $50/week in rent (but we put that money away so when they do move out we give it back so they have money to put toward things they need for their first place of their own).

Well, my sisters car problem wasn't the ball joint. It's part of the frame that rotted away. My brother-in-laws is rambling about the "A" arm or "A" frame or something like that. Steering rack is attached to it, or is suppoesed to be attached to it and is pushed way over. This should be an interesting repair, if it can be repaired at all. He seems to think it can be. We shall see.

A few of the club members rented the place for the week, perfect house, new and clean, garage, pool, 5 minutes from the carshow, right off the main hwy, but still quiet.
