more bang for ur buck

Hey guy, just bought a 94 mustang gt5.0. And I am wanting to spend a little money on her. I know I am going to get a 373 gear. The 308 is just not going to cut it lol. But what else should I look at for getting good hp out of her with out spending tons of money. All in all I willin to spend about 1500. Any ideas?

Cold air intake and exhaust would be a good start.

Don't waste your money on a cai for an sn95 car. They look nice but do nothing for performance. And the Mac prochamber is the best sounding mustang exhaust ever

Ya will get them for sure. I am also looking at the chip on American muscle, and looking to see if anyone has used them and what they think. All in all what I'm lookin at is 373 gear, cold air, exhaust (american thunder), and the chip. I am guessing around 50hp all in all. And its the cat-back system flowmasters. Am I in the ball park??

You aren't gonna gain 50 hp without a h/c/i upgrade. 30 tops

I am guessing head cam intake. Now if this is right, could I just port the heads and call it quits for that??

Sn95 is 94-04 model years however 99-04 was codenamed new edge for it's performance and body changes. And be thankful you have a 5.0 motor. You have just about unlimited options for building it and cheap parts. The 4.6 is not cost effective to get power out of. With the 4.6 you have to boost em. And parts shouldn't be to difficult. When parts shopping I found the corral to be the best parts buying and legitimate answers forum
