I just saw my 1st ZL1 the other day, it was in a traffic accident on immokalee road here in Naples. Someone had rear ended him and the Camaro was smashed all the way up to the rear window and I am not sure if anyone was hurt, airbags and all went off. The road was blocked off so it was serious but thats as close as ive been to a ZL1.

I am not sure who would buy a $70,000 Z/28 when you can have a GT500 or a Vette for less and both of them are faster than any Z/28.

 

Is that what GM is charging for the Z28, 70k. Crap. You can buy a supercharged Boss for a hell of a lot less. Heck, One can buy a 14 Vette for less. GM is smoking crack

 

That's been my thoughts from the second they unveiled it, why buy a fat 427 z28 when I could get a Z06 for less?

I like the outside of chevy's but then I sat inside and I said to myself I cannot do this...

then the next day I got the mustang because everything felt right.

I do like the exterior of the Camaro but GM really should be ashamed of the cheesey, cheap looking interior. The console of the radio area, lower control ***** and panels by the gear shifter are an embarrassment. Since I am looking at the interior the whole time , it must be pleasing to my eyeballs.

 

I like it. It takes the Boss blueprint and adds plus 1 to everything. If I wasn't already happy with my Boss, this would put me in a Chevy.

As its been said before, the exterior of the new gen camaros is nice. I personally love the look and boldness. But the interior is a crying shame. If they just did a simple re-design, wouldnt take much, they could match the Mustangs interior appeal and comfort.

 

I just hate how they have 0 visibility inside it. How can I drive if I can't see?

 

Silly Camaro

 

It's a freaking track car without a/c or street use tires! It's badass no doubt....but who the hell is gonna pay that for a track car. I wouldn't want to even drive that car down here to the track in fear of sweat staining the recaros, destroying the tires and selling my house. Oh yeah and no stereo....lol.

 

I really don't understand the whole interior superiority in the mustang. The mustang interior isn't much better than the Camaro. Maybe a little but both are pretty much crap. I guess the less plastic and fake leather make a difference. The Germans still know how to make a nice interior. The Camaro has crappy blindspots but I can't call the interior much worse than mustang. Not impressed with either.

 

Not a big fan of the layout of the interior in the Camaro. I am so used to driving a Mustang that I prefer the feel sitting in one. And I have to agree, the Germans make a nice interior.

 

On the topic of German cars my friend says the Boss mustang does handle better than his regular 3 series. Is this true.

 

To be fair i think wed have to compare the regular 5.0 to a regular 3 series. Even though a gt can beat an m3 the Boss will just walk with a win

 

Haven't driven one yet, maybe a good reason for a test drive.
