Welcome to the forums! ![Wavey](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wavey.gif)
First choice is eeBae for new old stock, and that's a maybe. Perhaps you find entire seats, or just the covers, or maybe someone's got them in a box somewhere.
Second choice is FacetiousTomeShoppingLocale, and that also is a maybe, and right distant second to the above.
Third is doing what you're doing... asking around, looking wherever you can, maybe you turn them up somewhere.
There's also car-part.com and entering info, perhaps you find a wreck nearby... or not nearby... that has what you want and it's in good shape.
You can also look into an upholstery shop to have your seats recovered in anything you want, including the original materials and colors if that's what you want to do.
Past that, you're looking at a Katzkin or something like that to do the job.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

I second @houtex ’s post.
Best bet is to watch eBay and check with your local salvage yards. Katzkins are very nice and give you more options, but will be more $. From what I have seen if you are wanting an upgrade in the interior, Katzkins will do it.
Best luck on your search.
