I guess NBC liked what they read in the four Knight Rider scripts they ordered last week. EOnline.com is reporting that NBC has ordered 9 more episodes, meaning Knight Rider will get a full season.

My KR insider tells me that the new episodes are much less hokey--more serious undercover espionage work than the first couple of shows--more like 24 than the cross between VIP, Viper, and Walker, Texas Ranger we're getting now.

Also, KITT will be a 2010 Mustang--presumably a Shelby--if Knight Rider gets a second season.

 

Maybe the evil KARR will return and it will be a new Chevy Camero. He he he he.

 

Sweet I like it thus far and some of my son's 12 year old age group are like it to they always want to come over as we have a PVR I guess like TVO records the series etc . Now I can't wait for the 2010 Mustang to make it in there !

 

good, i actually like it so far, it is a little far fetched, so it'll be good to see it a little more serious

I seen the first episode and it was just horrible. I still see episodes of the original series in europe and i wonder how it went so wrong...

 

Glad to see it was picked up. I don't take it seriously and just want to be entertained. I watch the old one every once in a while and whoa, just as cheesy if not more. Glad to see that the Stang on TV in a starring role too!!

Yea but after thinking about it, it will be way better without their story lines, It would be nice if they'd keep sarah's dad of any of them though.

I believe he said something like "Don't forget KARR."

I wonder what that storyline would look like. Mike finds the leftover piece of KARR's dash in the junkyard and Knight Industries decides to rebuild it using the 2010 Camaro Sarah recently bought. Then KARR realizes he hates being a Camaro and turns into a 2010 Mustang. Then he creates havoc throughout the US and KITT has to stop him.
SADLY THAT MEANS THAT THE 2010 KARR GETS DESTROYED BUT SARAH DECIDES TO PROGRAM KITT TO BE A 2010 GT500 W/ A KR HOOD.

I hope not. It appears that in "Knight of the Living Dead" Last weeks episode, there is a reference to KARR and is shown pics of him.
I gotta see it more closely.
