Issue or the way the car is supposed to start?

I just started my 2011 stang after sitting for te winter, I noticed that when I turn the key whether its starting it or turning the ignition on, I hear what sounds like the fuel pump going (seems loud) then the halo lights in the instruments dim and flicker before it starts, is this normal? When j started it for the first time last night, the needles in the gauges vibrated back and fourth making a weird noise before did their normal routine of maxing out and returning to zero. Issues?

Fuel pump - normal.
Flickering dash lights; noisy, vibrating gauges - Not in mine.

Battery could be weak. 12.6V is fully charged, 12.4V is roughly 75% and 12.0V is about 25%

That's what I figured, battery may be weak. The needles on the gauges vibrated and made a noise only on the first startup since sitting for the last 2 months

I had to charge the battery and let mine sit and run for awhile to let her work out the kinks by herself but she wasn't that bad because I periodically took my cover off and fired her up throughout the winter

Gotta get a trickle charger/battery tender for next winter. Battery is weak for sure. Should be fine after you spend some quality time driving your car around.

Hello non compos mentis,

I recommend you bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer for diagnosis. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.
