Insurance help!!$$

I'm 16 male and getting a 2003 gt for 7,000$ ,,, the thing ive been worried about is the insurance, any way I could put the car name under my dads insurance and get it lower or somehow get it lower !??

I know people that have done that, never did it myself so can't give any details. But basically you put it in your dads name with you as a co-driver. If this is illegal please ignore what I just said!
And grats on the '03, I just sold mine

Not against the law.
Speaking as somebody older than your dad...
I wouldn't do it for you.
Buy a 2003 Hyundai Accent and then I'd do it.
That being said...
A $1000 deductible and no collision coverage will lower it if you are buying cash.

Your father would have to take a BIG risk and just add you to his insurance. It still won't be THAT cheap, welcome to the world of driving as a teenager!
