Question I need your opinion on my hood decal

I just installed my CDC shaker with the Boss style matt black hood decal. I am going back forth on whether I should have gotten the Mach 1 stripe instead. Do you think the Mach 1 hood stripe would mess up the lines? Do you all think what I have looks cool?

Or should I go with this instead?

IMHO I think the Boss decal in gloss black would look best.

The reason I went Matt black was to match my rear deck panel. I do not have a pic of mine but it looks like this.

Stick with what you have. It has the "retro" look suggesting the original hood stripe of long ago. However, if you do go with the longer one (red hood) add the side stripes and go full retro. And my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Makes sense, just think gloss looks better in both places, but just my opinion. Matte is tough to pull off well IMHO.

Cool! I did not go full Mach 1 originally because I did not want to fake it. The car needs something on the hood if you are sporting the shaker.

I like what you have. It fits the lines of the hood better than a full length.

I don't think the style of the Mach 1 hood stripe would fit with the powerbump on the hood. The only thing I would have done differently on the Boss hood stripe would have been to use the design with the small pinstripe on the outer edge. Otherwise, the color and the shape go with the shaker.

Cool stuff!

The pin stripe breaks it up better. Where did you get that hood decal?

I found the decal I really think will work and like. I have a question. Will this for on the speed bump? I do not see the dimensions.

That will only work (I think) on the '05-'09s.

I was afraid of that. I looks like it will still work though.

I decided to keep the decal I have now. It really works with the lines of the hood. I think I might go with some badges on the sides of the cowl though. This will complete by shaker mod. Time for me to get the exhaust done and other things she needs!
