they are to dark...during the day , you can barely see them...can't at all in the sun. HOW , without replacing them...do i fix this problem? Thanks

Try some brake fluid on them. It will soften the paint, and shouldn't bother the plastic.

 

Either way, fix it fast! My buddy's were dark and he got rear ended HARD! Insurance wouldn't cover it bc how dark his tails where, so he had to pay to fix his own car after getting nailed at a stop light ... Weak

Get a plastic polish kit - usually at a hobby shop - start with the heavy grade and work your way down until it is acceptable and smooth with the lightest grit.

 

Take sand paper and start sanding until you see red again, then use a polisher and compound to buff it clear again.

 

Depending on what you used, you can rub acetone and it will slip right off. Then you can redo it and wet sand it for that glossy look
